Grace Kids is our ministry for children from nursery age through 5th grade. Through Grace Kids we seek to bring the incredible truth of God’s word and meet each kid right where they are at, teaching them in a way that they can understand. It is our desire to help develop a solid foundation of truth for each child while joining with them as we worship Jesus and build lasting relationships with one another.
Our current curriculum is called “Gospel Light” This curriculum guides children to a deeper understanding of Jesus through mentoring relationships with teachers and parents with a strong emphasis on discipleship and evangelism. Each week the lesson focuses on Bible skills, Bible knowledge and applicable life response.
And lastly we have a special area for our infants and toddlers, an area we call the Growing Station. In the Growing Station, children are welcomed into a warm and loving atmosphere. Through playtime and simple activities each week they will learn that Jesus loves them, that He made them unique, and that He created everything around them. We take the opportunity to care for, nurture, and disciple your children seriously. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us
“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the truth.”

AWANA is a gospel centered international children and youth ministry program for ages 3-12th
grade. We want to equip church leaders and parents with the tools to train and disciple boys
and girls to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. Discipling our children is one of the most
important jobs we can be doing for this generation, as they are the future of our church. Our
goal is to get as much of God’s word rooted deep into their young hearts, so they can be the
next generation to proclaim God’s word to a lost world.
Each night at Awana, your child will participate in Large Group time; where they will be learning
biblical foundational truths straight from God’s Word. Handbook time; where they will be able to
recite verses learned that week (2-3 a week for K-5) (1 a week for cubbies and youth) and to
interact with their small group leaders. This is where kids are encouraged to ask questions,
request prayer and just feel completely loved on by their leaders. Game time; they will learn how
to play competitively but still with gracious and loving attitudes. Closing time; where we will hand
out any awards kids have earned from previous nights and make any last announcements.
Parents are welcome to pop in for those last 15 minutes to watch children receive their awards.
Awards will be earned through the year as your child completes their handbook sections.
Cubbies will be earning apple patches, Sparkies will be earning colored jewels, and T and T will
be earning chevron patches. Where to place these awards are in the backs of their handbooks.
There will be many fun theme nights thrown in the mix such as crazy hair, crazy sock, and
pajama night; so keep a watch out for reminders sent home as the weeks go on.
Your child will be earning Awana points each night for things such as bringing their bible,
wearing their uniform, bringing a friend, memorizing their verses, participating in special theme
nights etc. We will be keeping track of these points through our Awana year and they will be
able to redeem them for a big end of the year surprise.
